2014 is record year at Cooper

The Cooper Companies reported CA$1.95 billion in revenue for the 2014 fiscal year. This is a record for the company and is partly due to its acquisition of Sauflon in June 2014.
The CooperVision division’s revenue was CA$1.6 billion, up 10% from last year. In the fourth quarter, sales jumped 18% over 2013, to CA$442 million.
Fourth-quarter sales rose 13% for toric lenses, 26% for multifocals and 32% for single-use lenses, compared to 2013. Revenue in Europe, the Middle East and Africa increased by 43% over 2013, and represented 42% of total sales, compared to 40% for the Americas and 18% for Asia Pacific.
