Say goodbye to Google Glass… for now

The Glass Explorer Program, launched in 2013, ended January 19, when Google closed the sale of its wearable prototypes.
Although some people see this as an admission of failure, perhaps even the death of Google Glass, Mountain View corporation says that they are only restructuring. The Google Glass project will no longer be the responsibility of Google X, the lab that works on the company’s innovative creations, but will become part of the Google Glass division managed by iPod creator Tony Fadell.
“We’re continuing to build for the future, and you’ll start to see future versions of Glass when they’re ready,” says the company in a release, without providing any details as to when the product will be relaunched.
