Carl Zeiss Meditec Acquires Veracity Innovations, LLC

Carl Zeiss Meditec has acquired Veracity Innovations, a Texas-based medical software company led by ophthalmologists Dr. Kyle Smith and Dr. Kerry Solomon, for an undisclosed purchase price, according to a press release from ZEISS on Monday.
Veracity Innovations offers a cloud-based platform for cataract surgery planning which “maximizes clinical efficiency and performance helping eye doctors provide personalized technology-enabled care.”
