In the March-April issue of Optik Magazine, contributor Jean-François Venne presents Creative Director and Founder of KREWE Eyewear, Stirling Barrett, who wanted to create frames that were inspired by the bustling culture and southern vibe of New Orleans.
Stirling Barrett studied in creative advertising at the Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, just prior to founding KREWE. Eyewear design had long been an interest of his, but in 2013, when he decided to begin KREWE, is when he truly became involved in the industry.
KREWE kicked off in August 2013. Stirling knew he wanted to build something that changed the way people interacted and thought about New Orleans and build a brand for the people of New Orleans.
Find out what makes KREWE’s frames stand apart from other frames and much more by checking out the full interview by Jean-François Venne available in the March-April issue of Optik Magazine.
